All Blacks loose forward Wallace Sititi is set to miss the entire Super Rugby campaign, according to reports.

Sititi, who had a breakout season for the Chiefs in 2024, posted to social media on New Year’s Eve, saying a “tough start to the year” was incoming.

Stuff are reporting World Rugby’s breakthrough player of 2024 sustained a knee injury on last season’s Northern Tour and requires surgery. Sititi played every minute of the last seven tests of the season.

Chiefs coach Clayton McMillan is addressing media today.

It would be a big blow for the Chiefs who open the season against the Blues on February 15, a rematch of last year’s final.
